AS 3584.4:2021 pdf free.Diesel engine systems for underground coal mines Part 4: Emissions.
This document specifies the test equipment, test cycles, performance and reporting requirements for
type testing of exhaust emissions for diesel engine systems (DES) to be used in underground coal mines.
This document applies to—
(a) fire-protected DES as defined in AS 3584.1; and
(b) explosion-protected DES as defined in AS 3584.2.
1.2 Normative references
The following documents are referred to in the text in such a way that some or all of their content
constitutes requirements of this document.
NOTE Documents referenced for informative purposes are listed in the Bibliography.

1.3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
1.3.1 after all treatment
test location for gaseous and particulate pollutants after all devices that are designed to modify the constituents of the exhaust
Note 1 to entry: Devices installed within the exhaust system that are designed to modify the constituents of the exhaust emissions may include a diesel oxidization catalyst (DOC), selective catalytic reducer (SCR), continuously regenerating trap (CRT), fuel based catalyst (FBC), diesel particulate filter (DPF), trap systems, a three way catalyst, or other systems and devices.
1.3.2 before all treatment
test location for gaseous and particulate pollutants after the DES exhaust valves and as close to as is practical, and before, all devices that are designed to modify the constituents of the exhaust gasses
Note I to entry: Devices installed within the DES that are designed to modify the constituents of the exhaust emissions exclude exhaust gas re-circulation (EGR), variable geometry turbochargers, shaped injection systems and like systems or devices that are integral to the original engine design.
1.3.3 cold start
first start after the engine has soaked to room temperature and the engine coolant and oil temperatures have stabilized between 10 °C and 30 °C
Note 1 to entry: Measurements for this includes all after treatment systems and all auxiliary engine control devices.
1.3.4 elemental carbon EC
agglomeration of small carbon particles with a graphitic structure.AS 3584.4 pdf download.

This document provides guidance on how to implement and maintain a management system for sustainable development based on ISO 37101 principles, specifically in the context of cities, but applicable to other forms of settlement. This document: — provides guidance for practical implementation ofa managernentsystem for sustainable development in cities and other settlements, based on ISO 37101; — establishes a methodological framework forthe systematic evaluation ofthe sustainable development schemes and achievements in the city or other settlements, based on the cross-analysis of the six purposes of sustainability and the 12 areas of action of ISO 37101; — illustrates how other International Standards can be used to support successful implementation of ISO 37101, including, in particular, ISO 37120 (which recommends a suite of city indicators mapped against the six purposes of ISO 37101) and ISO 37106 (which provides practical guidance on how to implement joined-up delivery and innovation across organizational boundaries within the city or settlement). This document is intended for organizing bodies, decision-makers, executive officers and managers in cities — usually, in the first instance, the relevant local governments. This document…
